I can’t say enough good things about this preschool. As a parent of a child with a serious food allergy, sending my daughter anywhere was a huge leap of faith—but this school has gone above and beyond to make us feel safe, seen, and supported.
From day one, the staff took her allergy seriously, following every precaution with care and consistency. They not only listened to our concerns but implemented detailed safety measures to ensure her well-being every single day. Communication has been excellent—always transparent, timely, and thoughtful.
It’s such a relief knowing she’s in an environment where her health is protected, and even more, where she feels included and never singled out. Watching her thrive, make friends, and love going to school has been the greatest gift.
We are so grateful for Ms. Colleen, Ms. Caylin and Ms. Malinda. Their commitment, compassion, and professionalism mean the world to our family!
There are not enough words to share how truly grateful and blessed I am for this preschool and the women who pour their hearts into it.
I’ve had three of my children go through their program over the years, and every experience has been filled with love, consistency, and genuine care. Colleen, Caylin, and Malinda are some of the most authentic, nurturing people I’ve ever entrusted my kids with, and that’s not something I say lightly.
My kids have always felt safe, happy, and excited to go to school. Every time one of them has graduated, it’s been bittersweet, they were ready for kindergarten, but so sad to leave the teachers they adored. And honestly, I’ve felt the same way. It’s been such a huge blessing to know they’re not just being “watched”, they’re being guided, taught, and loved.
I’ve had teachers from the Deer Lakes School District personally tell me how well-prepared and confident my children were entering kindergarten. That’s a direct result of the incredible foundation laid at Deer Lakes Nursery School, no question.
These teachers show up in the classroom and in the community. My kids light up any time they get to see them outside of school, and it speaks volumes that these women stay involved long after graduation. They bend over backwards (more than they should sometimes) to make the experience special for each family.
I’ll be beyond heartbroken when my youngest finishes this year, because this school has become such a beautiful, meaningful part of our lives.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience our youngest son had at this nursery school! He attended her for three years. From their old location to their new location, the love and dedication from the staff remained absolutely exceptional.
Mrs Colleen, Miss Cailyn and Mrs Malinda were fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It was clear from day one that he was in safe, caring hands. They loved him like their own, and he absolutely loved being there. He was happy to go every single day, which as a parent, means everything.
The foundation they gave him was priceless. He transitioned into kindergarten not only prepared, but thriving — both socially and academically. His kindergarten teacher even commented on how well-prepared he was, which I credit entirely to the nursery school’s amazing program.
