Deer Lakes Homecoming Parade
Deer Lakes Nursery School is excited to once again be part of the Deer Lakes School District Homecoming Parade! This tradition is a wonderful way for our preschool families to come together, celebrate our community, and show off our school spirit.
This year’s homecoming theme is Luau. To help bring our float to life, we are asking for donations from our Amazon Wish List. Your contributions make a big difference in helping us create a fun, memorable experience for the children!
Students are encouraged to attend, dress up in luau attire, and join the fun. Children will ride on the float/trailer, and parents are asked to walk with them (or ride if space allows).
Parade Day Details
- Please arrive at the school between 4p – 4:30p so we can prepare for departure at 5:00pm sharp
- The parade route will be as follows:
- Start a Deer Lakes Middle School Parking Lot (between the school and football field)
- Please note there is NO PARKING in that lot. We encourage you to get dropped off or park then walk over so allow ample time
- The route will then go onto East Union Road and head towards the High School
- We will then loop around the High School and everyone is welcome to exit the float and either go to their cars or enter the homecoming football game.
