SUMMARY:Freedom Farms Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited for our annual trip to Freedom Farms! This field trip is a favorite for our students and families\, filled with fun\, adventure\, and hands on farm experiences. \nTrip Details \n\nPlease arrive at the farm between 9:15am & 9:45am so that everyone is checked in and ready for the hayride to the top promptly at 10:00am.\nActivities: During our 2 hour visit\, children will:\n\nVisit and see the farm animals\nPick fresh flowers\nPlay on the playground\nPlay & climb on hay bales in the hay barn\nWonder through the corn maze\nEnjoy time in the corn pit with toys and slides\nPick out a pumpkin (each student will receive one small pumpkin with their admission)\n\n\nAt 12:00pm\, a hayride will return us to the parking lot for departure.\n\nThis special day gives our students the chance to explore\, play\, and make memories with their classmates and families in a beautiful farm setting. We can’t wait to share this adventure with you!

DESCRIPTION:Deer Lakes Nursery School is excited to once again be part of the Deer Lakes School District Homecoming Parade! This tradition is a wonderful way for our preschool families to come together\, celebrate our community\, and show off our school spirit. \nThis year’s homecoming theme is Luau. To help bring our float to life\, we are asking for donations from our Amazon Wish List. Your contributions make a big difference in helping us create a fun\, memorable experience for the children! \nStudents are encouraged to attend\, dress up in luau attire\, and join the fun. Children will ride on the float/trailer\, and parents are asked to walk with them (or ride if space allows). \nParade Day Details \n\nPlease arrive at the school between 4p – 4:30p so we can prepare for departure at 5:00pm sharp\nThe parade route will be as follows:\n\nStart a Deer Lakes Middle School Parking Lot (between the school and football field)\n\nPlease note there is NO PARKING in that lot. We encourage you to get dropped off or park then walk over so allow ample time\n\n\nThe route will then go onto East Union Road and head towards the High School\nWe will then loop around the High School and everyone is welcome to exit the float and either go to their cars or enter the homecoming football game.\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to our Marketing & Engagement Coordinator\, Victoria Stefancic at 412-335-1702 (call or text).\n\nWe can’t wait to see our preschool families representing Deer Lakes Nursery School with big smiles\, bright colors\, and a whole lot of luau spirit!
